How do we participate in class if there is no class?
In a Distance Learning course this is accomlished through the Discussion Boards.
How often are we expected to post comments on the Discussion Boards?
At least one new topic is presented during each week of the course. You are expected to respond to the topic AND respond to what others have to say about it. A minimum of three posts per week are required to get credit for participation.
TEXTBOOKS
What books do we have to have for the course?
The book you need is Types of Drama (8th Edition) by Barnet, Burto, Ferris, and Rabkin. It's published by Longman and the ISBN bumber is: 0-321-06506-9
It's available at the SNHU Bookstore or at Amazon.com
ASSIGNMENTS
How do I submit an assignment?
All assignments must be submitted through BlackBoard's Digital Drop Box. (Complete details of this are in the ASSIGNMENTS section of the BlackBoard site.)
What do I do if you don't get my assignment and I don't have a copy of it?
Since you're responsible for keeping copies of the assignments you submit, as well as copies of all papers returned to you, you will have to redo the assignment.
Can we submit more than one assignment at a time?
No. You can only submit one at a time. I will not review an assignment unless the previous one has been ACCEPTED.
How many times can we revise an assignment?
The number of revisions is flexible, BUT the usual limit is three.
Can I submit an assignment before the due date?
Yes. You can submit them ahead of schedule and even finish the course early
E-MAIL
Where should I send emails to you?
Send emails to my SNHU e-mail address; I have configured it to forward them to me home e-mail; however, if you want to get it to me faster, send a copy to gwilkers@nycap.rr.com.
When should I expect an answer?
I will answer your message as quickly as possible; that's usually within 24 hours.
What if my e-mail address changes?
If your email address changes during the semester, immediately send me an email from the new address and put something like this in the SUBJECT line: Email Address Change for Julie Doe!.
ASSIGNMENT FILES
What name should I give to the file of my paper when I submit it?
It's important that each file name be unique. The name for the file for each paper should consist of these three parts: your last name [eg JONES], the assignment number [eg 1], and whether it's NEW or a REVISION [eg NEW]; each separated by a hyphen [-], so the name of the file for Jack Jones' revision of the third assignment would be:
