Started as a stand-up in the Improv and Catch a Rising Star comedy clubs and played Jodie Dallas on the comedy sit-com Soap. Later he became a regular on SNL, playing characters like the parody of Fernando Lamas and others, including Sammy Davis Jr., Howard Cosell, Muhammad Ali, Joe Garagiola, and Prince. He made numerous films and along with co-hosts Robin Williams and Whoopi Goldberg produced Comic Relief on HBO. Here he is talking about his childhood, miming a home movie.
