A writer known best for his work in televisionand film, Henry's work is often satirical. Early in his career he worked on The New Steve Allen Show and That Was The Week That Was. Later, with Mel Brooks, he was co-creator and writer of the Get Smart sit-com and frequently hosted Saturday Night Live where he performed the Samurai sketch with John Belushi. He wrote the film adaptations of the risque novel Candy, The Day of the Dolphin, and The Owl and the Pussycat as well as original screenplays for What's Up, Doc?, Protocol, and To Die For. He received an Oscar nomination for his screenplay for The Graduate. He's currently a contributor to The Daily Show . There aren't many good clips of Henry available. He was more of a writer than a performer. In the following clip, he plays a scientist dating Murphy Brown in the Candace Bergen sit-com of the same name.
