Creator of "The Dick Van Dyke Show" was also a writer and performer on "Your Show of Shows" (classic TV comedy show where writers Mel Brooks, Woody Allen, and Neil Simon began their careers); author of film scripts ("Oh, God", "The Jerk", "The Russians Are Coming," etc.) and also known for his work with Mel Brooks as interviewer of the 2,000 year old man. Here's a sketch from "Your Show of Shows". Sid Caesar, the star of the show, is at the head of the table. Reiner is on Caesar's right. Most of the sketches for the show were collaborations.
