Who's Who in American Comedy

Woody Allen
Comedy writer, then stand-up comic, then filmmaker and playwright; one of the most prolific and successful writers and performers of the seventies and eighties; his "Annie Hall" is considered by some to be the best comedy of the 70's; he is sometimes ranked with Chaplin. Here he is doing one of his early stand-up routines. (Not the best quality; it's converted from British television)
