PROFILE

    An energetic and dedicated professional whose creativity and excellent communications and technical skills are matched by a commitment to quality, Dr. Wilkerson's expertise is widely recognized by those with whom he has worked in business, industry, and education. While at General Electric's Global Research Center he was awarded a patent for an automated proposal development and production process. He teaches online classes for Southern New Hampshire University, Austin Community College, and others.

    Dr. Wilkerson has also worked for Radian International, an environmental engineering firm, where he coordinated the writing, editing, and production of proposals for submission to government, private, and foreign clients. During his tenure there, he was responsible for the acquisition of more than $100M in contracts. He also coordinated the design and implementation of web sites for Radian clients as well as playing a major role in the development of the company's external (Internet) and internal (Intranet) web sites. During this time he was also an adjunct faculty member of Austin Community College where he taught online classes in composition and literature and developed the state's first online college writing program.

    Prior to joining Radian, he spent more than 10 years in the writing and editing of end-user documentation and computer supported training for companies like Dell Computers, IBM, and the Shell Petroleum Corporation. He also prepared accounting software documentation and authored newspaper and magazine articles. He has written trade books, texts, and reference manuals, and has won awards for his marketing brochures and fliers.
