College grades are based more on writing assignments than any other criteria. And contrary to what you might think, college level writing doesn't simply mean using as many big words as you can. Once you understand the underlying principles of good writing, you can produce assignments that bring the grades you want. There are 4 rooms here in the Infirmary: The Basics of Composition (a series of explanations, written in plain English, which help solve those sticky little mistakes that plague everyone; The Composition Classroom (Dr. Write's Informative lectures on College Composition and Writing), Creative Writing (for the budding poet, novelist or short story writer), and a page of links to other web sites which contain more sources for help with your writing.
